September moments: short trip to Thingvellavatn :)

Let's come back to September days. In the middle of the  month I quitted the job in the restaurant and only kept the job at school with kids. I felt really exhausted combining two jobs and having all weekends and evening busy at work. For over one month I had only one completely job free day. RIFF festival was coming close and I decided to be a volunteer at the Reykjavik International Film Festival. Also I was willing to have some more time for my personal life and meeting friends more often. So it was such an easy decision to make. I just stopped to be a waitress after over 4 months. I already got my permanent permission to live in Iceland so it was en excellent moment for such a movement.
On September 11th, one of my close friends, Ola, invited me for a morning ride to Þingvellavatn lake. She was going to give a lecture about multiculturalism at the scouts' resort at Úlfljótsvatn (the smaller lake south from the main one) and I had an excellent opportunity to go for a hiking photo trip.

It was cloudy with some sunny moments. The rain come just before I decided to come back and got me at the little forest by the lake. The trees were quite tall as for Icelandic 'forest'. It was my first hiking after almost 2 months of getting stuck in Reykjavik. I was so happy and cheerful, beautiful nature and magic energy of the  place. I was so happy to be on my own, only in my own company. Such a great moment! Peacefulness and harmony.
Some nice photos left as memory from the trip (the one in the hood is very nice selfie, showing the serenity of the moment).  I even didn't intuit that in a week time there will be so many new experiences waiting for me in Reykjavik. I plan to tell you more about it in one of the next entries. Stay tuned :)
