Glacier walk with my Polish association, first integration weekend :)

I know it's May already, my 5th month in Iceland, and even though you had seen a lot of my photos, still I need to tell you something about the integration trip with ProjektPolska.is. Just one week after my trip to Vik I did the same way again, this time with Polish buddies from the core group. It was during the first April weekend, exactly 5-6 of April. We were almost 20 people so we split up in 3 cars and set off to summer houses into the south Iceland to Fljótshlíð.
It was great fun, although we didn't have enough time to chill out properly, because the plan of journey and workshop was very intensive. And it was rainy and cloudy, not much sun, still it was quite warm, around 10 C.

Day 1
1. Stop at the abandoned swimming pool where I was swimming 1 week before
2. Stop at the beach near Vik with the old crashed airplane. 
3. Summer houses in Fljótshlíð, workshop, hot pot party and grill (I was grilling egg plants only :P)
and especially for the photographers, beautiful cascade of northern lights, yeahhhh!!! :)

Day 2
Glacier walk at Sólheimajökull glacier with our Polish friend, a glacier guide and great companion. It took more then 3 hours, the glacier was more grey this time and smaller then in February as it already melted partially, still I enjoyed it a great deal!!!!

 Hope to walk on the glacier again one day! And hope to go more further to the south next time.. Jökulsárlón ice lagoon is still waiting for me to be back.. my dream, blue icebergs, once again.. :)
