Wooden house at Lindargata, my new community life :)

NEW PLACE, NEW PERSPECTIVE

There are no more dark nights in Iceland, sky is blue, a lot of light and positive energy is in the air.. So hard to fall sleep when it's still so bright outside.. This was my second night at new place! I am feeling great in the wooden old house in the heart of Reykjavik, just by the sea. When I sit in the common living room by the huge window and watch the old garden and the high green trees, when the rays of sun are playing on my nose, I am feeling so deeply relax and peaceful inside.. And from my window at the attic I can see the colour of blue sea hidden partly by greenish trees.. It's so nice to feel so comfortable, harmonious and to have a lot of space for myself! Finally at home :)))))

It's almost middle of May, until now we had mostly beautiful sunny days, rain is coming seldom, if so, only for a while.

I will be staying in this wonderful wooden house only until the end of June, because it's going to be sold, then I need to find a new place for myself in Reykjavik.. Also I am looking for a summer job in Iceland, because there is a holiday break at my work at school from 10th June until the second half of August.. maybe will be working as a waitress in one of friendly restaurants again.. And my Italian maestro, who I was meeting with during last weeks, is coming back to Rome for the summertime..

So many changes, so much uncertainty..

Nevertheless, still it feels good to be in Iceland and experience new things in Life :))) I am open for all the positive and good energy and people that appear in my life, feeling good in the present moment and knowing that more interesting experiences are waiting for me in the nearest future.. :)

Harpa after Symphonic orchestra concert, May 8

Thanks to my Italian maestro I got a special entrance for the Ashkenzy and Icelandic Symphonic Orchestra concert in Harpa.. I feel I need to come back to classical music, it was such en excellent concert, Rahmaninoff, Moussorgski, Brahms.. I was sitting in the balcony just behind the orchestra and could see very clearly all of the musicians, and the conductor, charismatic Ashkenazy.. Yes, maybe in the autumn I should think about some piano lessons..


One of the principles of our wooden house community is that every evening one of us should cook dinner for all of us, and we are 6 people here, sometimes 7, so it's will be quite a big challenge (and of course pleasure) to invent some nice vegetarian dishes :))
And of course we are multiculti group of people, 2 Icelanders, 1 American, 1 French, 1 German and 1 Polish person :) Only vegetarian food is in the house :)

IT'S SO SPACIOUS AND COSY, FEELING SO GOOD :)))
