It was such a beautiful and fantastic day! 10 May, Multicultural Day in Reykjavík Fjölmenningardagur Reykjavíkurborgar :))
The weather was splendid on this day, the colourful parade with people from all over the world, world music and crowds of Icelanders greeting us and watching the parade going down from Hallgrimskirkja church through the main streets of down town in Reykjavik.
My friends from ProjektPolska.is and me co-organised the Polish part: colourful stand, place for children play and our participation in the multicultural parade. I was responsible for the project's stand and it looked so nice, many people came to try our cakes, Polish sweets and ask about Poland in general. We even prepared a small quiz about Poland with book prizes.
The event was so cheerful and nice, I met a lot of friendly people from so many countries. For sure I'd like to participate in the organisation of the event next year :)
